PJ Harvey, Figurines Align the Cosmos…or something.

My life has been filled with strange coincidences and connections lately…”signs” if you will - people telling me about the same abstract things in one day (Mayan calendar? Really?), people I haven’t talked to in years emailing me when I had thought about them the day before, etc. And this one is perhaps not as shocking, but I thought it was strange. I ordered these albums on the same day, and the first riff of the first song on each album is strikingly similar. The keys are a half-step apart, but hey…you can’t have everything. Listen to them and tell me if I’m just nuts:
PJ Harvey - “The Devil” (from White Chalk)
The Figurines - “Childhood Verse” (from When the Deer Wore Blue)
Both great songs and amazing albums. But seriously, something is going with my life. I think there’s a glitch in the Matrix.
